Voer eerst de query uit: tempdbs_listen.sql
Dan weet je hoe de tempdb er uit ziet na een tijdje draaien.
Een tempdb per core/kern is sneller omdat dat beter werkt.

Doe dan eerst:   tempdbs_maken.sql   uitvoeren

Daarna:  EXEC dbo.isp_AddTempdbFiles 8,10 
alwaar 8 het aantal mb's is wat hierboven bij tempdev staat aangegeven.
Autogrow in mb of percentage is een keuze, deze routine zet hem op aantal mb's.

Gevolg bijvoorbeeld:

 1       tempdev         8.000000            Autogrowth is on.        10                  Growth value is a percentage.
